Mr. Prem Kewalramani a post graduate from Vikram University Ujjain also obtained a diploma in mechanical engineering. He gained 2 years experience in the processing unit.
He along with his elder brother Mr Kumar Kewalramani ventured into an engineering company named Capitol Engineering Works and within a short time expanded their business and opened 3 more engineering tool room workshops in Mumbai and Navimumbai.
Having vast knowledge and experience of about 35 years he took over and looked after the business named Weldcraft Engineers set by his BIL Mr Gul Harpalani after his demise. Weldcraft Engineers was engaged in manufacturing various types of welding machines like Micro and Macro Butt Welding Machines, Saw welding Machines, Arc and Spot welding machines etc etc.
Today Weldcraft company is a leading manufacturing company and continues to take the legacy and cater to various copper/steel/aluminium wire manufacturers all over India and overseas.

A pioneer of Weldcraft Engineers Mr Gul Harpalani B-Tech set up his manufacturing unit of various types of welding machines in the year 1972 in a small space in Bhandup along with his two brothers Mr Mohan Harpalani and Mr Suresh Harpalani. Together they started manufacturing Micro Butt Welding , Upset Butt welding, Arch welding, Spot welding, Saw blade welding machines, rectifiers, Rotary Switches. Within in short time they became one of the leading manufacturers of all above machines. Mr Gul Harpalani who was instrumental in business development, carried on till his last breath in 2010. Mr Prem Kewalramani, brother in law of Mr Gul took over the charge and carried the legacy left by Mr Gul.
